Our Approach

We start with an assumption that no-one knows your organisation as well as you do. Many of our clients have diverse stakeholders, are strongly mission-driven and desire change – internally and externally – to help achieve those objectives.

We’ll listen to you and all the key stakeholders to help identify the underlying issues and reflect those back to you honestly and transparently. If we are engaging in a leadership search exercise we will develop a search strategy that targets people with the motivation, fit and competencies to succeed and embrace your approach to equity, diversity and inclusivity throughout.

If we are working with you on a change project, we will ensure the team working on it really understand your sector. Our staff and Associates have held senior leadership roles in mission driven organisations globally and are well placed to help. Our change team comprises expert organisational psychologists able to show what’s going on under the surface, how people respond under pressure and how to build resilience in your leadership team.

We assume that no one person in our team holds all the wisdom in the room – we believe in the power of the team, and harness that in any work we undertake. Practically, this means we bring the whole organisation together whenever we launch a project, to talk about you, your aims and to hear the ideas from our staff and associates on how best we can support you.

Our team is small but global – dispersed, remote, hybrid. We aim to have researchers working close to where the networks of people are that we want to tap into. We want our change consultants to be from the communities you serve and operate in but we also have the power to tap into that global group to get fresh thinking and look for best practice wherever we find it.

This holistic approach has led to an increase over the past five years in our success rate of filling leadership positions to over 90% first time around.
